Initial Consultation & Inspection
We begin with an in-depth consultation and on-board inspection with Paul Hardiman, Chief Marine Engineer. We assess your current engine's condition, performance, maintenance history, and any signs of critical failure.
Repair vs. Replace Cost Assessment
Paul will guide you through whether an engine rebuild or replacement is the most economical solution. Often, an engine rebuild can end up more expensive over time, especially when factoring in reliability and availability of parts.
Tailored Replacement Options
We offer both like-for-like replacements (keeping your existing engine footprint) and custom installations using alternative engine makes/models that meet your vessel’s needs. We work with trusted suppliers of Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Beta Marine, Nanni, and more.
Removal, Installation & Alignment
All work is carried out by Paul and the HYS team with precision, ensuring full alignment, vibration control, and exhaust system compatibility. We handle logistics, crane lift-outs, engine bed adjustments, and sea trials.
Post-Installation Support & Servicing
